More About TalkAboutIt.org
Talk About It!
In April 2016, the Epilepsy Foundation launched the new TalkAboutIt.org in partnership with epilepsy advocate and actor Greg Grunberg. The site raises awareness about seizures, offers first aid information, and addresses misconceptions about the condition. Our thanks to Sunovion Pharmaceuticals for their sponsorship and support of the #TalkAboutIt site.
Talk About It! For Kids
On November 9, 2017, Greg Grunberg joined Epilepsy Foundation Professional Advisory Board Chair Dr. Christi Heck in a 30-city satellite media tour promoting National Epilepsy Awareness Month, our TalkAboutIt.org initiative, and the importance of talking about epilepsy to support the 470,000 children with active epilepsy living in the United States.
A key feature of this tour was to let people know about a new landing page on the site,
talkaboutIt.org/Kids, that highlights the importance of parents, siblings, teachers, and neighbors knowing the best ways to support kids living with seizures.
A new poster, which can be downloaded here, helps kids talk about epilepsy:
In this video, TalkAboutIt.org co-founder Greg Grunberg interviews families about how they overcame challenges and helped support each other when epilepsy is part of their lives.
